Every mapped public area in Texas

Texas is mostly private land, so public hunting is spread across many small and mid-sized tracts. Tap a pin for the area page.

302 of 317 areas have a map point; the rest (Big Thicket hunting areas and Fort Bliss) have no published coordinates. Larger orange pins are WMAs, national forests and refuges.

Areas by TPWD public hunting region

TPWD divides the state into eight public hunting regions. Each list runs alphabetically.
