When is dove season in Tennessee?
Sept 1 to 28, Oct 10 to Nov 1, and Dec 8, 2026 to Jan 15, 2027. Opening day starts at noon.
Do I need a permit for TWRA dove fields?
Most WMA fields need a WMA small game permit or an Annual Sportsman license; the table notes any extra rules.
What is the dove limit?
15 per day, no limit on Eurasian collared doves.
Are there youth dove hunts?
Yes, several fields hold youth hunts before the regular opener; see the notes column.
