About 232,000 pheasants stocked incrementally through early January (about 17,000 for the junior hunt), weekly releases late Oct.-late Nov., a mid-December release, two post-Christmas releases at many sites, and a tentative mid-February release; 220+ stocked properties on the interactive map.
Hunter Access Program
Private lands open to public hunting under PGC term leases (90-year-old program). New for 2026-27: three access levels – Open Access (no permission), Reservation Access (online one-day reservations, up to 10 per month; trapping 3-week reservations; waterfowl up to 5 hunters), Permission Access (landowner contact shown after entering CID/DOB).
