2. The gun goes to the FFL
A firearm bought online ships to the dealer’s licensed premises, not to your house. The shop calls once it arrives.
3. Form 4473 at the counter
You fill out ATF Form 4473 with a photo ID and the dealer runs the background check before the transfer.
4. Dealer transfer fee
Dealers set their own fee for receiving a gun shipped from someone else; ask before you order.
